Donovan Mitchell Named NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week

On February 12, the NBA named Donovan Mitchell the Eastern Conference Player of the Week, marking Mitchell’s sixth Player-of-the-Week honor.

During Week 16, Mitchell led the Cavaliers to an Eastern Conference best 4-0 record and was the only player in the entire NBA to average at least 25 points, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. On February 7, Mitchell reached his fifth 40-point game of the season.
